Looking for merino wool socks for skiing and snowboarding or long merinos for winter travel that will work for curvy calves? After many requests, we’re proud to introduce these beauties into our outdoor clothing collection. The Fire woollen socks in lavender (mauve), will keep you cute, warm and toasty all day. While not specifically designed for plus-size bodies, we’ve inspected and tested them and we think they’re going to pass the test for curvy men and women looking for a comfortable, high-quality Merino wool sock without a too-tight or narrow band cutting off much-needed blood flow to your toes.
The lightweight Merino wool sock blend is the preferred material for warmth, durability, wickability and longevity in ski and snowboarding socks. They’re a soft yarn that feels itch-free against the skin, with odour control, ankle and arch support, and cushioning on the foot sole including the heel and toe which are also seamless and highly breathable. Phew! All that in one sock!

Size 2-8 = Women’s sizes 4-10, Men’s Size 8 and under
Size 7-11 = Women’s sizes 9-13, Men’s Size 7-11

Which size snow sock should I choose?
- Choose the socks with the closest fit, using the stretch of the fabric so that there is no bunching or seams inside your ski boots or snowboard boots
- Size 2-8 = Most women wear this size (women's sizes 4-10). It’s unisex sizing so also fits bigger kids, and up to a women’s size 10
- Size 7-11 = Most men wear this size. Or women who are size 9 and up, although we generally suggest a firmer fit so recommend for women’s size 11 and up
